Meet the Collective
Learn more about the folks working together as as the Central Kinsman Wellness Collective. Our community is full of Central Kinsman resident leaders and partners with unique expertise available for support.
We’re organized by committees to divide and conquer the decision making and responsibilities necessary for us to run effectively.
Leadership by Committee
-
The community engagement committee manages recruitment, involvement, and awareness. To measure the success of these efforts and inform priorities for future work, they gather input from the community through conversation, events and surveys.
-
The business planning committee is the hub for the operational and financial logistics of the CKWC. They lead hiring, space selection, and business model manage and continuously research and pilot new ideas.
-
The Food and Agriculture committee pairs with local growers and farmers with the goal of developing a circular food economy. They also take lead on land management and agricultural developments.
At our core, we’re a collective: a group of like minded individuals working together to improve access to healthy foods for everyone in the Central and Kinsman neighborhoods. In addition to our steering committee, we’ve distributed leadership across 3 core areas to ensure every voice is heard.
